The Gates of Zion

The term “Gates of Zion” and how it is used in scripture is explained. We need to understand about the Gates of Zion because that is how we enter the heavenly realm and get closer to God. This sermon was given by Associate Messianic Rabbi Bruce Neiger on Sept 13, 2007 during our Rosh Hashanah Day service.

Memorial Service for Arnaldo Rivas

Note: This is not the actual funeral service that was held in New Mexico but a memorial service we held in our congregation during our Shabbat Service on June 7, 2008.

arnaldo rivasRabbi Arnaldo Rivas went home to be with the L-rd on June 2, 2008. He was an incredible man of G-d and filled with the Love of the L-rd. When you met Arnaldo you never forgot him. Every time you saw him you were truly happy to see him and he was truly happy to see you. Even the hugs he gave you were unforgettable. He touched and affected a lot of lives here in Minnesota, even after he moved to New Mexico. Sharing this memorial service is our tribute to him and a way that we can permanently share him with everyone who did not know him.

The Word and the Spirit

Special Speaker Mike Natt speaks on the topic of “The Word and the Spirit”. We must learn to be like Miriam (Mary) and sit at the L-rd’s feet and listen to His words. This message was given on June 7, 2008.

Mike is a Jewish believer who grew up in New York City. Mike came to faith and was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1970. He served as an elder at City Hill Fellowship in Minneapolis for 12 years and ministered the Word in various churches. He pioneered a Messianic work in the Twin Cities (the predecessor to our congregation) and led a church plant in New York for 2 years. Mike has taught the Word of God for 35 years. Mike is a GateKeepers Prophetic Minister and serves as an elder at All Nations Church in Phoenix, a church that has a vision for planting churches among unreached people groups. His ministry passions are prayer and the ministry of the Word. Mike earned his B.A. degree in Organizational Studies from Bethel University, and M.A. degree in Human Resource Development from St. Thomas University. Mike has been married to Cheryl for 34 years, and they have 2 grown daughters.

Fulfilling The Father's Dream

Fulfilling the Father’s Dream is learning to walk in love towards one another. Not just towards your brother and sister in the L-rd but towards all people. This is not a nice idea or something we recite in a service or put on a greeting card but a commandment of our L-rd Y’shua. From a Father’s day message given by Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman in 2007.

Know Who You Are in Messiah

Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman teaches on the importance of knowing the word so that we know who we are in Messiah, how to deal with life & live our lives, how to treat one another, how to respond to the adversary, hasatan (the devil).
This message was given on Jan 19, 2008.

Forgetting the Past, Pressing Towards the Goal

Walking in Agape love and learning to walk in unity. Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman gave this message early in 2007. There is reference to a previous message which is not available but he includes a short review.

God's Next Move

What are some of the ingredients necessary and the attitudes needed so we can recognize a move of God so we can move in the direction He moves instead of missing or resisting it? Associate Messianic Rabbi Bruce Neiger gave this sermon on June 28, 2008.

Faith of our Founding Fathers

What are the beliefs of those men who helped to found the United States and help shape its formative years? If you listen to our current media or read any of the recent history books one would think they were all a collection of irreligious people. In fact, such was not the case. They were a group of people with deeply held beliefs in God, Yeshua and/or religion in general. They believed that religion was necessary and vital for our country. If you have never done any research in this area, this message might come as a surprise to you. Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman gave this sermon on July 5, 2008.

Wounding the Heart of God

What happens when we don’t forgive one another? What happens when we don’t walk in agape love? The most important implication is that we wound the heart of God. Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman gives a personal and powerful message on the importance of walking in unity, love and forgiveness as well as discussing the implications of what happens when we don’t do it. This message was given early in 2007.

A Heart Like Wax

We are to be a disciple of Yeshua (Jesus), our Lord and King. What are the costs of being his disciple? Dr. Howard Morgan hits the ground running from the beginning and delivers an INTENSE message on this subject. This message was given early in 2007.

Dr. Howard Morgan is the apostolic overseer of our congregation.  He is an internationally renowned prophetic teacher whose insightful, humorous and anointed ministry is inspiring, empowering and equipping believers around the world. A Jewish believer in the Messiah Jesus since 1971, he has planted and pastored churches in New York City from 1976 to 1987. Since 1987, he has been traveling in a full time prophetic and teaching ministry, establishing and overseeing churches and ministries, and pastoring pastors. He spends several months a year traveling in ministry throughout the U.K. He is a gifted communicator who is able to present Scriptural truths clearly and precisely, so that the principles of the Kingdom of God are plainly understood and easily applied. His ministry is often accompanied by clear demonstrations of the revelatory gifts of the Holy Spirit. He has an intense passion to see the entire Body of Messiah come to spiritual maturity and unity, as well as a vision to see the Church restored to her Hebraic roots, and to her Biblical relationship and responsibility to the Jewish people. He and his wife Janet, an anointed minister in her own right, have three grown daughters. His website is: http://www.howardmorganministries.org

The Shape of Your Soul

How does the Lord shape our soul? In other words,  How does the Lord mold us to conform into His image for His purposes? The Lord allows many things & situations into our lives, many of them difficult, to accomplish just that purpose. Shape our soul! One of the most important things He does is to deal with the idols in our lives.

Dr. Howard Morgan delivers a powerful message on discipleship and the Kingdom of God in our lives. This message was given in November 2007.

Transformation

The Lord is looking for disciples. Disciples that are willing to be transformed into His image. One of the reasons transformation is necessary is that our thoughts, lives and relationships have been marred by sin. Part of that transformation is dealing with our constant tendency, even as followers of Yeshua (Jesus), to be preoccupied with ourselves (idolatry). This message was given by Dr. Howard Morgan on November 3, 2007.
