The Importance of Israel and what to do about it

Messianic Rabbi Ed Rothman was invited to a local church, Hope Community of Corcoran, MN. (http://www.hope-church.info/) The service that day was “Israel Emphasis Sunday”. Rabbi Ed spoke on the subject of Israel and the Jewish people, their eternal calling by God from Scripture, their role in history and in the future. He also spoke on Israel’s importance to the Church at large and what the Church can do to help and support the nation of Israel and the Jewish people.

Gary and Faith Fry

Gary and Faith Fry were our special speakers during our Saturday Shabbat Services on June 19, 2010. They are the founders and head of “Heal our Land Ministries”. The purpose of their ministry is to minister to the elected officials of the state of Minnesota, to pray for them, encourage and share the grace of God with them. Their ministry website is http://www.healourlandus.org. The first ten minutes are an explanation of the ministry. The rest of the time is Faith’s dynamic testimony of the power of God in her life and how he saved her and delivered her from demonic possession.

John and Sandy Halvorsen

John and Sandy Halvorsen started out prayer walking the United States. When they completed their task, they were asked by the Lord to prayer walk Europe, Asia, and some countries in the Middle East, including Israel. “Is the seed still in the barn?” Haggai 2:19. Why do we let the seed the Lord has planted in our lives sit dormant, doing nothing. Why isn’t it out their being planted in the lives of others? Why are we not bearing fruit for God, for His Glory? We need to go from seed to fruit. How does that happen? How does the Lord fill our lives with Glory? Chuck Porta preaches a sermon that is among the most dynamic and powerful we have ever heard in our congregation. The last 20 minutes he ties it all together to answer the above questions.

Chuck has been in full time ministry since the mid 70’s.  He brings a strong prophetic word to the body of Messiah, calling the Body of Yeshua to walk in the fullness of His grace. He also works with a number of churches giving counsel to leaders and endeavors to help them through the challenging times churches face. He and his wife Kitty reside in Eden Prairie MN.
