Welcome to the Seed of Abraham
Messianic Congregation

We are a Messianic Synagogue, made up of Jews and Gentiles from many races and ethnic groups. We worship the G-d of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob through His Son Y'shua HaMashiach (Jesus the Messiah). We believe the Messiah has already come in fulfillment of many prophecies from the ancient Hebrew Scriptures. We are rediscovering the roots of the Judeo/Christian faith that the entire universal congregation of Messiah and the New Covenant faith are founded on.

Our vision of ministry is found in 8 key passages of Holy Scripture.
They are:

  • Leviticus 26:12 — I will walk among you and be your G-d, and you will be my people.
  • Psalm 22: 1,7,8,14-22 — I will declare your name to my brothers, in the congregation I will praise you.
  • Psalm 133 — It is pleasing to G-d when his people dwell together in unity, there He commands a blessing.
  • Jeremiah 31:31-34 — A new covenant with the house of Israel, I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts, they will all know me, from the least to the greatest.
  • Romans 1:16 — The Gospel is the power of G-d to all who believe, to the Jew first and also to the Gentile.
  • Acts 2:42-47 — Continue in teaching, fellowship, worship and prayer with signs and wonders; all needs met.
  • Ephesians 2:11-3:8 — Jews and Gentiles to be One New Man; to share in the commonwealth of Israel.
  • Galatians 3:7-29 — If you are Messiah's, than you are Abraham's seed and heirs to all the promises from G-d.

Our services are a blend of Ancient Hebraic traditions and contemporary Messianic faith. We are learning what the Psalms teach us about praise and worship; to shout, blow shofars, clap our hands, dance, as well as being silent, reading quiet meditative prayers and scriptures.

We believe in the present day activity of the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh) in worship, spiritual gifts, teachings and evangelism. If you have a prophetic word or scripture please share it with Rabbi Ed or Bruce, or an elder first. As the scriptures instruct, prophetic words will either be confirmed or corrected.

Our congregation observes the Sabbath on the seventh day, from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday. We believe that the Messiah taught the the Sabbath was given to us as a gift to enjoy. It should not be a test for fellowship that might bring disunity to the Body of Messiah. If you love G-d with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and you neighbor as yourself, you will have fulfilled the highest meaning and deepest purpose of all the commandment. If you trust in Y'shua's shed blood as the atonement for your soul, turning from your sins to G-d with all your heart, then you are part of G-d's eternal kingdom and His forever family, whether Jew or Gentile, male or female, we're one in Y'shua.

Thank you for visiting us and may G-d richly bless you as you worship with us. Peace be unto you in the name of Jesus our Messiah!

Messianic Rabbi
Ed Rothman
